These sugar free chocolate chip cookies, satisfy all chocolate chip cookie cravings, without any of the guilt you feel, like when you find yourself at the end of that second pack of Marylands! 

Using super ripe bananas and apples to replace that refined sugar these healthy chocolate chip cookies are a nutrition bomb. You basically doing your body a favour by eating one!

2 bananas, ripe
1 apple, roughly chopped
1 egg
50ml milk
150g rolled oats
75g chocolate chips (70%)
75g sultanas
75g hazelnuts, chopped


Place the banana, chopped apple, egg and milk into the goblet of a liquidiser and blend until smooth. Put the oats, chocolate chips, sultanas and hazelnuts into a bowl and mix together well.

Add the blended banana mixture to the oats and other ingredients in the bowl and mix together thoroughly.Leave the mixture to stand for 30 minutes to allow the oats to hydrate and the mixture to thicken.

Using and ice-cream scoop, scoop out 10 portions and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Using your hand or a spatula; press the scoops down into a flat cookie shape, tidying up the edges as necessary. Bake the cookies for 15 minutes at 180ΒΊC until they are light golden brown and firm to the touch.

Leave the cookies to cool for at least 15 minutes, then carefully remove from the tray. You can eat these immediately or store them in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
